Welcome picnic for the Illini 4000 riders!
The Illini 4000 are cycling across the US to raise money for cancer research. They left NYC in May and will end their trip by crossing the Golden Gate Bridge! Come join us to welcome them and celebrate their accomplishment!
The Illini 4000 is a non-profit dedicated to the fight against cancer, supporting those that have been affected by cancer and affecting how cancer impacts the lives of Americans. They are cycling across the country to raise awareness and money for the American Cancer Society, Camp Kesem UIUC and the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. It will take about 70 days and 4,500 miles of riding to reach San Francisco!
