Join fellow Illini for our Peninsula edition of Hikes Across the Bay Day! We’ll spend the morning exploring one of the Bay Area’s most scenic open space preserves, featuring shaded forest trails, rolling hills, and sweeping views stretching from the Peninsula to the South Bay. It’s the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy great conversation, and connect with fellow alumni while taking in some of the best scenery the Peninsula has to offer.

What to Expect:

• Approximately 4 miles (moderate)
• Beautiful redwood groves, open grasslands, and panoramic Bay views
• Plenty of opportunities to chat and take photos along the way
• Optional lunch afterward in downtown Portola Valley or Palo Alto

Please bring comfortable hiking shoes, water, sunscreen, and layers, as temperatures can vary throughout the morning. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or simply looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday, we’d love to have you join us!
